Fred Kahn, MD, FRCS(C), Dr. Kahn is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Following graduation, he initiated postgraduate studies to obtain his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. In 1988, Dr. Kahn discovered Low Intensity Laser Therapy and quickly grasped the significance of its healing potential. Accordingly, he combined the technical expertise of several engineering disciplines with the appropriate clinical objectives. This synergy gave birth to the most advanced Low Intensity Laser Therapy Unit globally, known as the BioFlex System . The process transformed a relatively primitive technology into the gold standard for the industry. Dr. Kahn leads and teaches by example. The impact of his contribution to science may not have achieved the recognition it deserves today but will certainly do so in the future. In my opinion, eventually it will change the practice of medicine. It is fortunate that he brought his profound energy and intellect to this task which benefits thousands of patients around the world on a daily basis. He has been and continues to be an inspiration to all who have worked with him and I speak for myself when I say, it has been a privilege to collaborate on this project.Review:
