"The visually engaging, creative interface will have students reading it before you've even assigned it."
"If we want to be successful in the classroom in the 21st century--this is it."
"The authors' overall vision is quite compelling in its presentation of writing as a thinking process and emphasizing, explaining, illustrating, and preparing students to use various writing/thinking contexts. It's an organic view of writing, not a mechanistic one."
"[This is] an extremely readable, innovative text blending modern ideas and classical rhetoric, a text obviously prepared by veteran teachers."
"[The] graphics are very eye-catching and appealing. They make you want to read the text and examples. They interest you and pull you into the text. They relate well to the examples being shown. The arrows show you exactly what you are looking at and describing it looks very useful...I could see and understand where everything was coming from. It was very refreshing compared to a normal textbook."
