Beyond the half-sleep lies a land of dreams where anything can happen....
Join Elannah and Sam as the half sleep takes them to their secret Tree-House in the Jungle ... where they meet in their dreams.
This time they're off to see Rodger the Badger, on their flying bikes - up, up into the night sky ... and onto another everlasting fantastical adventure ...
"An Adventure you say? On flying Bikes? And where do you suggest that we go on such a cold and bright night?"
"This is the perfect night for fireworks." Sam stated. He was full of the fun filled memories from earlier in the evening.
"Yes. Fireworks." Elannah backed Sam's suggestion up and looked expectantly at the badger.
"Ah yes.... Fireworks." Rodger removed his feathered cap and scratched his head. "Do you know where the best fireworks are to be seen on such a night as this?" A bright gleam came to his eyes and he looked pleased with the thoughts within his mind's eye.
A delicious and delightful night of lights and laughter, music and magic. awaits them in the Great Northern Mountains, where the Great Wizard Grumphspawn tells us of his fireworks ...
"I have a series of assorted sensations for you to enjoy this evening. Seven to be precise." He paused for dramatic effect. "We will start off with the Goblin Racer, move on to the Highlander's Delight; the Jolly Jester; the King's Coronation Ball; the Long Light Liberation; the Parrots, Pirates and Pancakes Piratical Pyrotechnics; and finally the Troll's Totally Titanic Terribly Triumphant Toothy Tongue Tingler!"

The Imagination of Children
When we are young we have such powerful imaginations, as we grow older that power can fade. As Albert Einstein said all of our problems and our solutions are products of our imaginations. We must be very careful with our own and our children's imaginations.
It is so pleasurable writing these adventures when the whole family share their ideas for the plot and characters. I am often astounded by the suggestions from my kids about what will happen next, they both have such active imaginations. Although I am named the Author there is so much of us all in the books it is hard for me to know how much has come from me. In fact I believe what makes the stories so good is the way we have all contributed to the adventures.
What better way to write children's books than to engage them in the story's creation. Their ideas help connect the adventures to the younger readers. When reading at the local school I can see the children quickly connecting with the stories. Such looks of wonder on their faces. Reward enough for any author.
"I believe that our ability to imagine is the key to a happy life and we must nurture the positive imagination of all children."
Born in Yorkshire and fortunate to grow up in different parts of Europe. Finally finishing school in the Kingdom of Fife. He first went to St Andrews University, but preferred adventure so spent the next 20 years, as a salty seadog, sailing the world and being amazed by its variety of wonders.
Finally he 'swallowed the anchor' and came ashore working as a Superintendent and a Consultant. Married to a rare woman, Liz, with two adorable muses for kids. They live in Scotland and are looking forward to entertaining children of all ages in the years ahead.
