This is the follow-up book to TBI Hell, which was published in 2006. The author, Geo Gosling talks about life 14 years after sustaining a Traumatic Brain Injury. Few, if any, books regarding brain injuries give a perspective of what life may be like 14 years after suffering a brain injury, this one does. It is a male's perspective who received a TBI at age 25 and is now 39 years old.

It is also rather humorous in spots, as humor is, in Geo's opinion, the best way to deal with what life is like after suffering a TBI.

From the Author:

This is the "follow-up" to my first book, "TBI Hell." This book describes the trials and tribulations I've had to deal with 14-15 years after I suffered my Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). No other book, that I know of, deals with what life is like for someone that long after they have suffered a serious brain injury.
In this book, I am not nearly as angry at the whole world as I was in "TBI Hell." I guess that's progress. I've actually been told the book is pretty funny. It could be because I truly believe that "laughter is the best medicine." Therefore I try to laugh as much as possible. The book shows that life can improve for someone with a seriously injured brain, and believe me I have had my doubts along the way. But as I show in this book I have definitely made progress, aside from being less angry. To get the full impact of how life with a TBI can improve, "TBI Hell" should be read first.

From the Back Cover:

I now know what hamsters must feel like when they run on the little
exercise wheel in their cage. They run, run, run, and work, work, work,
but they don't go anywhere. That was me. I would pedal, pedal,
pedal, and sweat, sweat, sweat but I kept looking at the same darn
tree (through the window of course because I was inside.)
