About the Author: Born in 1929 in Oklahoma City to parents Grace and DF, Janice Griffith Meyers says of her childhood and young adulthood "I was always writing something." While living in San Diego, during her second year of high school, Janice met Art Lieberman, and after four years together they married. In 1950, they welcomed the birth of their daughter Terri and three years later their son Nick. In her forties, and years after her divorce with Art, Janice met the man she would love to this day. Of him she wrote "...my entrance into the world of Hal Meyers, a world of travel, luxury hotels and gourmet food, romance, glamour and excitement..... all heady stuff. It was so easy to be seduced by his life style. Passion struck me like an Oklahoma tornado and we fell madly in lust" (from the short story "Chronicles of Love"). Now, in her eighties, Janice still says of him on a daily basis, "No one could have a better husband." All throughout her exciting and whirlwind life, Janice has never stopped writing. When asked why she writes, she simply says, "I love it." Throughout the years Janice has taken countless classes, always seeking to improve and polish her skills. And here is the final product, a collection of her wonderful and beloved stories now available to the world.
