About the Author:
Zane Grey (1872-1939) wrote fifty-eight Westerns and nearly thirty other books during his lifetime. Considered the father of the Western, he used the setting as a moral battleground in which his characters are either destroyed or redeemed. More than 130 films have been based on his work.
