About the Author:
Julius Hensel was a German agricultural chemist in the late 1800s who discovered that by adding finely ground rock dust to soil he could confer immunity to bacterial, fungal and insect attack. Eventually these these findings were published in Das Leben, or The Life and later as Bread from Stones.
