It is a biographical novel about a mexican pioneer woman aviator, doing commercial flights from the State of Washington to Alaska in the late twenties. It describes the way of life of most of the twentieth century, since 1906; placing her life story within the world's main events and the family traditions at that time, in the United States and in Mexico. The roll that destiny plays on her, and dramatically changes her plans, modifying her way of life, but utimatelly allowing her to reach her main goal.

Lucy Medina Rivera is an architect, from the National University of Mexico, who has worked as such for the past fifty years. Held public office in the State government for fifteen years and became involved in politics, being elected Councilwoman in 1979 and Mayor in 1996. Her litteratly talent began to evolve after a lifetime of writing, pursuing excellence through the School of Authors. Has written and published two biographical novels in Spanish, one of which she translated into English, due to her domain of both languages. She is currently involved in social work, writing and has found a new love, sculpture. Proud mother of two and grandmother of two youngsters.
