Judy Ferguson lives on a one-hundred acre horse-ranch in the Ozark Mountains, adjacent to the Illinois River in the heart of the Cherokee Nation with her husband, Joe. Wildlife is abundant, life is slow-paced and people are sweet and helpful. Judy grew up on a farm in central California where she learned the love of animals and about the hard work that comes with them. Judy and Joe have horses, geese, ducks and Akita dogs. Judy enjoys collecting wasp nests, creating original quilts, knitting, sewing and clay sculpture. She is a proud Vietnam veteran. Madison's New Jersey is the second of the Madison Series. The first book in the series, Madison's Square Garden, was published in 2008. A third in the series, Fit To Be Tied, will be published in late 2009.
