About the Author
Sybil Raney was the design director of Texas Monthly Magazine, California Magazine, and Buzz Magazine. She was also the style editor of the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine, and has written for the New York Times and the Austin American Statesman. After her years as a ranch owner, she married her high school sweetheart, a Texan but not a cowboy, and lives with him in Austin, Texas.
