Mark "Dodger" Bishop lives an unfavorable life; no friends to turn to, bullies that torment him, and parents who treat him like garbage. One night, Dodger stumbles through a doorway in his closet that leads to a world inhabited by characters from various fairy tales and folklore. Dodger teams up with the knight Sir Humpty Dumpty and the alchemist Rumpelstiltskin to complete a series of adventures. Along the way, the trio encounters a seductive witch, a mad puppeteer, and ferocious bounty hunters. As Dodger completes his quests, he not only conquers various enemies, but also begins to conquer his fears.
