This book investigates the origin and significance of Christianity by diving into its deep-rooted connection to the Old Testament. The author posits that the ideas and concepts central to Christianity emerged from a pre-existing Jewish hope and expectation, rather than originating solely in the time of Jesus or his immediate followers. The book challenges the notion of a sudden and isolated Christian movement, arguing that its genesis was a gradual unfolding of the Old Testament's teachings on the Kingdom of God. Through an examination of prophecy, prophecy's fulfillment, and the development of Old Testament canon, the author traces the historical evolution of the Messianic hope from its earliest stages to its realization in Christ. This insightful study sheds light on the continuity between the Old and New Testaments, offering profound insights into the essence of Christianity and its enduring significance.
