About the Author:

Dawn Obrecht grew up in a family with two alcoholic parents, developing the family disease herself at a young age. Her journey into and through recovery both saved her life and allowed her to live a life of service. As a physician who has traveled to other countries doing volunteer medical care, she has progressed in her own spiritual growth, finding that her struggles with addiction provide the pieces that make her most valuable to others. Giving her more than she could have imagined, her patients and coworkers continue to share lessons and blessings.
