About the Author:
Nadia C. Davis was born under the Virgoan sun in Kansas City, Missouri. As a child, she enjoyed reading, water coloring and playing in the wilderness. Nadia graduated from Southwest Science/ Math Magnet High School. Nadia was no stranger to the world of storytelling when the Late Derrick Thomas of the Kansas City Chiefs hired her as a storyteller. She worked for the Third and Long program offered by the Kansas City Public Library. For a short time period, Snubby attended Penn Valley Community college majoring in Biology, later changing her major to Journalism. Since that time, Ms. Davis has moved to Memphis, Tennessee. Nadia has been featured in two anthologies. The first anthology was published by The International Society of Poets, entitled, Timeless Voices. The second was by published by Noble House, entitled, Centres of Expression. Nadia (Snubby) Davis is the proud mother of three children, Photographer and Ramp Agent for a major cargo carrier. Nadia's hobbies include reading, growing houseplants and listening to a variety of music. Ms. Davis is a member of the International Society of Poets and Madison Who's Who. Nadia is currently developing a new manuscript for a children's book.
