ABOUT THE AUTHOR Joseph A. Bou-Sliman is a high honors graduate of Boston College. His academic achievements included a minor in modern and ancient languages, philosophy and theology. The FBI Academy of Northern Virginia conferred on him three hundred semester hours, mostly at the graduate level. He has served as chief of police with several municipalities here and abroad. Bou-Sliman has taught at various universities including M.I.T. Northwestern, Loyola Medical School and others, on the subject of narcotic and alcohol abuse. Most of his training was conducted on a one-on-one basis while working at the street level, prior to a subject's incarceration, although he operated a state-wide narcotic control program that had huge success. He has lived in the Middle East, actively involved in that arena, and included with issues that are still considered "classified." He was security expert for the Olympic Soccer Team for many years. The author has been deeply involved with the Israeli/Arab conflict that is still a powder keg. He has taken command of security forces over four states in the U.S., which were Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin. He has served on state and county Commissions for security and narcotics control many years. He is actively engaged with the Law enforcement agencies for several states and their governors. Operation: Snow Leopard is the first of several revealing novels concerning the "Cold War." The author admits to a clandestine lifestyle full of drama and murder.
