It considers the past, present, and the future; it delineates the poor strategic decision making that has, and will, prevent Black Americans from achieving their goals; and it motivates consideration of nation formation as a valid alternative for Black Amerca's future.

A native Floridian, Dr. Brooks Robinson completed his undergraduate studies in economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He completed Master's and Doctoral Degrees in economics at George Mason Univesity, Fairfax, Virginia. He published a ground-breaking aritcle entitled, "Black Unemployment and Infotainment" in the January 2009 issue of the JOURNAL OF ECONOMIC INQUIRY. In 2007, he published a book entitled, BLACK ECONOMICS: A PRIMER, which serves as a source and fact book on economic terms and concepts, on the economics of Black personalities, and on Black American socio-economic conditions and institutions. He publishes occassional essays in newspapers around the United States and on Internet Web sites mainly on Black American economic issues. He is founder, director, and chief developer of the BlackEconomics.org Web site .
