Twenty thousand years ago there was a powerful civilization that was known throughout the globe, an intelligent race above all others. So powerful that this small island they resided on was the backbone for the entire world. The tropical island flourished with all of the God’s creations and was protected by three large mountains circling the island that were admired by all men known as the center for trade and commerce. The technology this civilization possessed far greater exceeded any known to man. This land was sanctified by the god of the sea, Poseidon. the very creator of the enchanted island. When Poseidon fell in love with a mortal woman named Cleito, he used his great powers to embody a land fit for his queen. Out of the deep, dark depths of the endless ocean rose up an island out of the sea in the very spot Poseidon resided since the beginning of time. All around the small island rose up to the sky three great mountains to protect what would soon be the start of a new race. Cleito was granted immortality for her union with a god, shortly after she gave birth to five sets of twin boys to rule over the greatest civilization in the world. For centuries the inhabitants of this small tropical paradise prospered and lived meaningful lives, spreading prosperity across the globe. Until one that held the throne in a single moment damned the race. For his greed and injured pride he caused the destruction of the light that led the world. In a single night the island plummeted to the bottom of the sea, leaving only one survivor out of over five million inhabitants, leaving the king alone to face the wrath of the angered god of the sea, Poseidon. This island was called Atlantis. And this king was cursed to walk the face of the earth for all eternity or until he proved his worthiness of a king in the unmerciful eyes of Poseidon, whichever was to come first.
