Is the biblical book of Revelation about how the world will end? Are you confused by its bizarre kaleidoscopic images? Some experts tell us to interpret Revelation literally. But are they right? Revelation itself, in its opening verse, says that it is communicated in pictures or symbols, as explained in the preface to this study, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ-Comfort or Confusion" To help you get into symbolic communication, artist LaVerne Victoria Carol puts on her visionary glasses and shares her view of some of the visions that John might have seen. The confusion of current "literal" sensational apocalyptic views does not bring Revelation's seven-time promised blessing, but it does give rise to oft-heard despair and resignation such as: "Let everyone believe what they will" or "Who can know what it all means" So why study this book of the Bible at all? Because the one who reads and heeds will be blessed (Revelation 1:3). Here are reviewed the symbolic images of Revelation in their biblical context by Dr. Ralph Rohr and illustrated by Christian artist LaVerne Victoria Carol in her publishing debut. The entire Bible is the context of Revelation. Revelation is not about how the world will end. Revelation is the apocalypse-the complete and full unveiling of Jesus Christ in his awesome glorious reality. The entire Bible is about Jesus Christ, from start to finish (Luke 24:44). Are you tired of misunderstanding the last book in the Bible? Do you seek a fuller appreciation of Jesus Christ and his promised blessings? If so, open the cover and read on.
