Life is not an endless road, but a beautiful ride with so many beautiful things surrounding it... In life, people go through several phases with each phase leading to a more enlightened view on life. But what most have been doing is aiming horizontally, which bounces back to you and prevents you from moving forward with your life. What you need to do is aim vertically, keep reaching upward until halos of light, vision, and insight will come cascading your way and help you discover your own purpose in life. Aim Vertically Not Horizontally teaches us to look at the bigger picture-the people and things around us and the circumstances that shape us. Each person and creature has a role to play in God's master plan. But sometimes we become so engrossed with ourselves, in our own life journey that we forget we belong to one big universe, that includes all species-human and nonhuman, who have been assigned their paths, to make sense in the bigger picture. Once we know our purpose, we must work hard to achieve it. Life feels like one endless journey where you keep on moving forward in life, hoping you'll arrive at the destination someday. Some are so focused on the road that they forget to look around and appreciate the things of journey. Everyone may walk different paths but when they cross, these little moments can change your life. Open your mind and heart to the possibilities and learn to appreciate the beauty around you. Filled with beautifully profound insights, this book answers the many questions we ask in life like finding inner happiness, seeking enlightenment and more. Everyone, including the poor and handicapped, plays an important role in the world. Each person we meet will affect our lives and aid in our growth and spiritual enlightenment. Aim Vertically Not Horizontally and become the person you want to be...
