This second edition includes a new cover design as well as editorial refinements and polish. While this book is a work of fiction, it is inspired by the real life and decades-long career of a prominent trial attorney. After interviewing this attorney for a magazine article in 2004, we struck a connection and, eventually, the idea for this novel emerged. That initial seed was the beginning of five years of research and writing that became "The Rules of Action."

Landon J. Napoleon is the author of the novel ZigZag-which debuted to widespread critical acclaim and went on to become a feature film-and other fiction and non-fiction books. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
