From the Author:

The patterns in this book are inspired by colors and textures in natural surroundings. I've included yarns that I enjoy working with and knit items that I use in my own life.  My hope is that you will enjoy knitting the patterns over and over, and that you will add your own flair, try new finishing techniques and incorporate your enthusiasm into each project.  I have a gallery on my Website, knit1fortheroad.com and welcome your pictures to share with other Knitavians.

The patterns are rated according to the Yarn Standard Guidelines from the Craft Yarn Council and range from easy to intermediate. The patterns rated easy require a basic knitting knowledge.  The intermediate patterns require using double pointed needles, circular needles, or stitches that require a little more skill.

Knit with glee!
Margaret
