Happiness. It is a hot commodity sought by millions of people. Some seek it in food, drugs, alcohol, or sex, and some even try to buy it. However, most people, especially women, look for happiness in relationships. We search for years, go from one man to another, and stay in loveless, abusive, or dysfunctional relationships, hoping to find this euphoric, drug-like sensation no matter how long it takes. But how much time do we have? Life is not guaranteed, yet we act as if we have a warranty, like if this life doesn't work or gets destroyed, we can return it for a brand-new one. That's a dangerous game we women play since there are no give-backs or do-over's. Once we're gone, we're gone. The only life game we should play is the board game. It's fantasy, and, at the end, if you lose or don't like how your "life" turned out you can start over. But this life - this is the game you don't play . . . the game plays you.

E.M. Foster grew up in New York City, a few blocks from the infamous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, and has always had a passion for writing. When she wasn't making up characters in her mind, she was doodling or jotting down her thoughts on whatever paper she could find. In fact, she attempted to write a book when she was 19, but the words didn't come because it wasn't yet her time. She had more living to do and more experiences to go through. Following the dissolution of her marriage and after she left her job as an assistant on the trading floor of a top investment banking firm, E.M. Foster really got in-tune with her writing. This time, when she put her pen to the paper, the words flowed like water down a stream. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with her fiancÚ and children. She is a major sports fan who loves to read, cook, laugh, go on long walks, and spend time with her family and friends.
