Eddy Goes Solar: The Journey of an Electron from Silicon to Electricity

9781453707449: Eddy Goes Solar: The Journey of an Electron from Silicon to Electricity

"What a fun book. So well written and so beautifully illustrated! Kim Auberson has done a wonderful job of taking a very complex scientific concept and turning it into something fun that everyone can understand, and enjoy. Over the next 15 years our stodgy world of electricity is going to go through remarkable changes that will forever alter the way we think about electricity. These changes will include new technologies such as "smart-grids" and "photovoltaics" and the next generation of children should comfortably understand how this new electricity paradigm will affect their lives, much the same way that children today understand the internet and how it continuously changes their lives. Eddie Goes Solar is a must read for anyone who wants to understand the future of electricity and for every parent who wants their children to be comfortable with how their world is changing. I love this book!"
