This is the book I wish I would have had when I started teaching robotics. After 18 years of teaching English and drama, I was asked to teach robotics and to coach a First Lego League robotics team using Mindstorms NXT. I spent hours looking for inexpensive lessons to teach programming. Many books taught how to build cool robots, but the programming was mostly ignored or way over the head of the students. Nothing under $200 taught day-to-day lessons without a lot of preparation on my part, so, with more determination than common sense, I started writing my own lessons. I decided that if I couldn't find anything to teach programming, probably others were in the same situation so I organized my lessons, included hundreds of illustrations, and made this book. I hope you enjoy it, but more importantly, I hope learn a lot from it in an easy and enjoyable way.
