The use of the open source MediaWiki can be a fast, cheap, and easy method for development of a Decision Support System (DSS). Decision Wiki is a case study focused on the design, development, and implementation of a DSS using MediaWiki. The research highlights the opportunities for other organizations to benefit from both the lessons learned and the value of the application of MediaWiki for technical organizations.
