About the Author:
Michael Malott is a west coast based author who has long been outspoken about EBay's practices both in public and in a court of law. He has spent years monitoring EBays practices and the countless horror stories from its users which overflow the internet, as well as judgments and fines levied against them. He has even led a protest in front of EBay's attorneys offices. Mr. Malott is available as an expert witness in actions against EBay. In 2007, Malott filed a class action lawsuit against EBay for violations of the "Sherman Act" accussing EBay of creating and maintaining an unfair monopoly in the marketplace. Mr. Malott recommends that anyone who has a complaint against EBay email EBays attorney at krobinson@omm.com and also file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Silicon Valley in San Jose, claiming that this is their best chance of getting a situation resolved. EBay works diligently to keep their BBB score as best as they can likely due to frequent government agency investigations resulting from consumer complaints.
