Mark Petrik is a retired orthopaedic surgeon who earned his B.A. from Bellarmine University and his M.D. from Vanderbilt University. He completed his orthopaedic residency, which included experience in animal research, at the University of Pennsylvania. He is blissfully married and has three adult daughters of whom he is extremely proud. He resides on a small farm in southern Indiana.
