Reviews

PreS-K—This large board book pairs each letter of the alphabet with an animal. The layout is clean, with bright colors that highlight the crisp and detailed photos. Favorite animals are represented (a chimpanzee hangs upside down from a "C") as are less familiar ones ("H" is for a bird called hoopoe.) Each page also includes a simple, one sentence fact about each animal ("If an iguana's tail breaks off, it will just grow another one.") This animal alphabet book deserves a spot on most shelves.—Laura Stanfield, Campbell County Public Library, Ft. Thomas, KY
