Barbara Sillery is an award-winning and prolific producer and writer with a penchant for visual history. Her fascination with the cultural history of places and antiques led her to write The Haunting of Louisiana, The Haunting of Mississippi, and The Haunting of Cape Cod and the Islands, all published by Pelican. Formerly a resident of the New Orleans area, Sillery moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, near her childhood home in New York. In between exploring the fascinating stories of New England, she travels back to her adopted home of Louisiana as a producer working with public broadcasting.

About the Author:

Barbara Sillery is an award-winning and prolific producer and writer with a penchant for the paranormal. She earned a bachelor's degree in theater and speech from Marywood University. Among her many credits are a successful internship with the Actor's Equity Theater in New York and a stint working for the theater as its stage manager. Sillery's passion for antiques introduced her to the world of the paranormal. Her fascination with the story behind each piece led her to write The Haunting of Louisiana and The Haunting of Mississippi, both published by Pelican. After many years in the New Orleans area, she moved to East Falmouth, Massachusetts, near her childhood home in New York and is enjoying exploring the fascinating stories of her New England home.
