About the Author:

Patricia S. Clyne has enjoyed photography all her life, but that passion has blossomed over the past several years since the advent of the digital camera. Since then, she has been involved in, and thoroughly enjoys nature and wildlife photography. She has locally published a few nature related books to include a book titled Nature’s Beauty Surrounds Us, that was created from pictures taken on the grounds of her apartment complex, an official nature preserve. The book is displayed on site in the apartment complex main office and is shown to visitors and prospective residents. In addition, she has published other books such as: Our Beautiful Egret and Other Heron; Our Majestic Eagle; Birds In Flight; and Birds in Flight, 2nd edition. The impetus for this new book, Soaring High ... Spreading Hope ... Everyday, was a result of a longtime friend opening Ms. Clyne's eyes to the effects of cancer and its associated treatments. Consequently Ms. Clyne began attending a local breast cancer support group in Jacksonville, Florida called Bosom Buddies. Her call to action was to learn more about cancer and its effects since so many friends and relatives have been stricken by the disease. This support group provides tremendous free support to women who have developed cancer. Ms. Clyne personally is not a cancer survivor, but as a result of knowing too many people who have had cancer and then also attending the Bosom Buddies support group, she has seen the importance of moving forward as an advocate for the fight against cancer. She plans to create a series of books with different themes following in the same premise of inspirational and pictorial books of hope. These other various themes will include books specifically related to children, landscapes, waterscapes, and our treasured seniors. She is also finalizing a DVD with the same title, Soaring High ... Spreading Hope ... Everyday. Other additional books and DVDs may follow.
