About the Author:

Ibrahim Yousuf Guled started his life in Somalia, a land under the hot sun of the North-East Africa on the coast of the Indian ocean. As a teenager he moved to the middle east, and there he learned the arabic language, and it was there he became interested in learning english. Now he lives in the northern Norway, with 7 months of winter and 3 months of total darknes. He started his new life as a refugee, trying to adapt to the new culture without losing his somalian-identity. Life was not easy, but as hard work always pays of, he have now finished his upper-secondary education in Norwegian and is publishing his first book. Ibrahim himself says: I wrote this book with clear vision and easy language to inspire people around me, especially children and teenagers, to take life in the direction they want to go. I believe that life always open the door for those of us who knock, and it dosn't matter where you're from, if you're a refugee or rich, you can always change you're life.
