This book is an explicit personal experiences and beliefs I have come to accept as part of growing up. THIS IS HOW I MISS AFRICA pays homage to the African Diaspora. From the West coast of Africa to The Netherlands, to Italy and Canada everyone loves life, and the penchant for making it better is amazing. But to do so, there are a couple of obstacles we have to overcome. Most of the little issues facing the world are unique to Africa, a continent that has seen its share of political turmoil, economic disasters and religious divisions, to mention a few. There are always changes in life throughout the ages, but things remain the same. For this very reason, I pour out my heart in reminiscence of Africa and all it stands for in this world. My thoughts and beliefs might seem crude and may not fall into the general consensus of what life is supposed to be, but I am not here to offer sympathies nor solutions. I am here to question every little piece of ideology that makes us think that life could be different after all these centuries.
