9781461062899: Subconsciously Unconscious

“Subconsciously Unconscious” spawns from the author’s hopes, visions and desire to see “African Americans” prosper beyond economical positions, but sociological as well. This book deals with a variety of topics, such as the educational system, the political system, the religious system and the judicial system to name a few. All of these institutions seem content with the 3rd or 4th class citizenship “African Americans” suffer with. This book deals with ideas, which if applied, the author believes that this hook could alter and reverse much of the problems our communities deal with on a daily basis in life.

About the Author:

Marcos Gray is an ex-gang member who has sought enlightenment and aggressively pursues self education. Despite his incarceration, he has completed his GED course, and takes a variety of legal, Biblical and historical courses. This has been ongoing in an effort to increase his knowledge and effectiveness in his writings. The author realized that his previous lifestyle was detrimental to his future, his heritage and his community, thus becoming the main cat¬alyst for his seeking and development of consciousness. The author also desires to raise the consciousness of those to whom he speaks for in the process of his own awareness. This is the author's first published work.
