A few years ago I was having some success fighting my bipolar disorder and decided to write down a few pages. I wanted others in my family to benefit from my knowledge in case something happened to me. One thing led to another and I ended up writing a whole book. The original written work was of poor quality and I spent thousands of doing research to rewrite and verify everything I could. The title is a bit of a misnomer. Much of the advice is the best of what I learned on my appointments and from taking psychology classes and doing research on the internet. I attempted to say what to do and why it’s important. I put the word “unauthorized” in the title to be up front with the reader that I am a peer and some of the information and advice is not what most psychologists and psychiatrists would give. I am giving advice that I have found helpful and many others have found helpful too. I went to libraries, bookstores and other places but none of the books were giving advice anything like what I am giving you in this book. In the final analysis there are no magic words a therapist can say or potions, vitamin, pills herbs that can defeat bipolar disorder. The main avenue to defeating bipolar disorder is controlling what goes into your body. Bipolar disorder is a chronic illness and defeating it requires hard work and discipline. Sleep is another constant them throughout the book. If a person can get meaningful rest then mania and depression will subside. If you want to know what someone who is winning his fight against bipolar disorder is doing then “The Unauthorized Guide to Bipolar Disorder” is the book for you. Priced low for a limited time.
