Dr. Austin J. Silchester holds a Ph.D. in archaeology and a post-doctorate D.Sc. in botany and mycology and a Th.D. in theology. Dr. Silchester's latest achievement is a D. Hum. in political science. He earned an M.S. in environmental science and an M.A. in history. In his undergraduate studies, he holds a B.S. in earth and life science and a B.A. in integrated social sciences. He has studied German at Berlitz. He is a writer, lecturer, journalist, professor, archaeologist, naturalist, photographer, artist, and historian, who has lectured for over twenty-five years in these areas throughout the nation. He has appeared on CBS Today, on CSPAN's DeToqueville in America series, and on local cable television. Dr. Silchester also served for many years on New York State's Twentieth Congressional District's advisory committees on the environment and science and technology. He is listed in Who's Who in Science and Engineering and has been a member of Mensa.
