Rosemary Beach is a love story like no other. Rosemary comes from a hard working family which like so many others today was a broken one. As a child, Rosemary was extremely creative; her tales will cause deep laughter. Already married once to a man who was unfaithful; she finally meets the man of her dreams. Their wealthy lifestyle is like a reverie to her. The biggest blessing though is not any of the "things" but a much unexpected gift that she could have never imagined. With the blessing comes a loss. As happy as the gift makes her, the loss is unbearable. The ending is so surprising that you may want to read Rosemary Beach. "Rosemary's Group" may be an example of healing that others could create. God is her Rock and remains such through the entire book. You will laugh at Lucy, cry with Rosemary and dream of a life such as hers.

Upon the completion of Beaufort Betrayl, my first Contemporary Christian Mystery/Thriller, I was so amazed at the interest and support that small book generated. So many people are broken and hurt; was it possible that I could offer words of encouragement. Without being a professional and offering "self help" guides, could I in a simple way allow the Lord to use my work to reach out and help someone? Just one person who laughed or smiled through the pain of their day would be worth the effort. Rosemary Beach is about a simple nurse; someone whom most of us would understand. She meets a wealthy British man who "rocks her world." Ah, she changes his as well. Through small acts, she is able to introduce Malcolm to the love and grace of God. You will laugh with the maid, Lucy, you will thrill to the love that Rosemary shares with Malcolm and you will want to visist the beautiful Rosemary Beach, Florida. Rosemary is both a place and the name of our protagonist. Come, sail aboard the beautiful Swan sailboat, Ruth. You will never want the adventure to end. From the Inside Flap:
This is it. One of us will live to take another breath; the other's life is over. She deserves to die. After she stole my life with HIM, how dare the think that she could strut around being the grieving widow? It is difficult for me to picture the two of the together. He could not have loved someone so undignified. She was always just a silly woman. Never did she accomplish anything of substance. when I remember Malcolm, all of his accomplishments, his brilliant education and philanthropy; all wasted on her. They looked ridiculous together. Not because of the age difference, most wealthy, successful men given the choice prefer a younger woman. Someone whose essence is beautiful and gives them a youthful take on life; it keeps a man happy and eager to spend every moment wit his mate. Instead of an old woman who moans and complains; the younger women whom I know that are married to older friends and they ar many, adore their husbands. It must be so gratifying to look in your husband's face and see admiration instead of a wish that you had left when you had the chance.
