We all have trials and in 2006, Shelia Gold found herself surrounded by cancer. Her sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, two weeks later, her husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer, then two months after that his brother with mouth and colon cancer. She began praying to God for direction and strength while asking Him to reveal her spiritual gift, so she might help each one.
In Stop, Drop, and Listen Then Arise, Go, and Tell, she reveals that stop, drop, and listen were the words God spoke to her. She found herself journaling then searching the Bible, not just reading it, but clearly seeing that the promises God made in His Word, were and still are, His promises today. For seven years, the poetry included in this inspiring collection flowed from God’s voice to her ears. She prays that He will lead those facing trials, those hearts that need mending, eyes that need to see, and ears longing to hear about God’s unconditional love and everlasting promises.
Through Stop, Drop, and Listen Then Arise, Go, and Tell, they will find comfort in the knowledge that He will never leave them nor forsake them.
The Saddest Verse in the Bible
The Holy Bible is filled with verses
So many written to make us glad
Yet there in the 26th chapter of Acts
We find the verse that is so sad
Paul tried to witness to Agrippa
He explained the promises and blessings of God
His mission was to preach the Good News
