Students will learn specifics on how to implement a multicultural contextual approach in their interviews. In the first demonstration, Allen works with Patricia's Chamorro family/ community genogram and we learn how family context relates to personal development. Following a co-counseling model, Patricia then interviews Allen about his rural community background. These positive resources serve as anchors for client problem-solving.
