About the Author:

Before losing his vision, author Joseph Covais produced precise replica clothing for museums, historic sites, and the movie industry. Today he teaches psychology classes at the Community College of Vermont and works as a psychotherapist with blind and visually impaired persons. Covais holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from St. Michael's College. Though "BATTERY!" is his first book, the author has written numerous articles about antique clothing, 19th century photography, and military history. He lives today with his wife, Donna, in Winooski, Vermont.
