Jamila E. Gomez was born on January 15th, 1982 in Chicago, Ill. She is the youngest of three daughters. She lived in Chicago for three years before she and her family moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she attended kindergarten. After kindergarten, Jamila and her family packed up and moved to Lithonia, Georgia. There she attended Redan Elementary, Salem Middle, and Redan High School, graduating in 2000.
