In April 2009, I was leading Bible studies in my home when I felt a strong leading from God to start writing "You Can Have a Happy Family." People would often ask my husband and me what the key was to our happy marriage and family. We would always respond that it's all God's doing. But I felt that left people wanting to know more. That's when I knew God wanted me to share the steps He took us through to bring us to a place of contentment in our home.
God sent many wonderful people to help me along the way, so the book isn't only my story about marriage and raising children. I am grateful for all the willing hearts God used to help bring this book to completion. He sent mothers and fathers willing to share their struggles and testimonies to help me produce a book that truly meets the needs of families today. I am confident God will use this book to draw families closer to Him, as He is truly the only source of contentment.
