From the Oval office to the back streets of Sao Paulo, from the lush vineyards of Italy to the unforgiving landscape of the oil fields in the Middle East, Dr. Matthew Stone, multi-millionaire financial genius and his beautiful Italian fiancé take the reader on a global journey. Together they uncover an unspeakable evil that threatens to destroy the world’s financial markets and return America and its allies to the dark ages. Their quest to prevent the catastrophe takes them to the financial capitals of the world—Athens, Frankfurt, London, New York, Tehran, Washington, D.C., Zurich, and finally to the glamour of Lake Como, Italy. This journey will haunt the reader long after the last page. “A remarkable novel based on real world threats and a chillingly plausible scenario. What sets this book apart from most fictional novels is the author makes you wonder if this story will turn up on tomorrow’s front page news! “ -Wallace Kidder The Observer

About the Author:

D. Davis Turner spent twenty-six years as an international private investment banker in Europe, Mexico and Latin America, before publishing his first book “Unlocking Wall Street’s Resources” in 2001. That was followed two years later with “Negotiate Your Way to Success” which Priority magazine declared, “A must read for anyone in sales.” He began writing fiction in 2004. His historical novel, “Time is a Traveler” was published in 2008 and was awarded four stars by the Publisher’s Reader’s Choice. The author’s most recent book is the well received “Gallery of Rogues: Swindlers and Forgers of the 20th Century.” He says the number one priority when he is writing is to entertain and inform the reader. He hopes, “The Crash of 2012” has done that. After living in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York, the author now resides in Miami, Florida with his wife, Lisa.
