I've always been interested in stories about miracles, God's love, humanity, compassion and how to have a long-term meaningful marriage. I thought I had it pretty well figured out. Then over a thirty-month period, my life changed so profoundly, it was breathtaking. I witnesed a beautiful woman that didn't know Christ transform into a Christian. Her out-of-control cancer set the stage for the many miracles God blessed her with. God gave her the time she needed to find salvation.

I wrote this book while in a heavy burden of grief. My perspective was, that, writing in grief would allow me deal with my profound loss and help me capture the moment. Although, very difficult, through my tears I was able to write a beautiful book in 4 1/2 months. If I were to write the book today, it wouldn't be the same. My emotions were very raw, which allowed me "to tell it like it is." It's obvious to me now, that when grieving, one's mind opens up in a way that can't be replicated under normal circumstances. For that I am thankful.

Mission Statement: To reach out and touch your heart, speaking of God's grace and love and the many miracles I witnessed.
Speak to you about a little-known deadly blood Cancer, and how, because of it, life quickly changes, and some of the effects it will have on your life.
Speak to you about faith-based hope. Hope is what most of us turn to in time of troubles. I did that! Once I discovered faith-based hope, the word "hope" became so much more powerful.
To tell a beautiful love story about a couple that didn't understand the meaning of true love until the chips were down. We excelled in that area, and when in the presence of others, they felt our love. It was special!
Lady Bug: The Ladybug on the front cover stands for emblem of luck--It is said that if one lands on you, your wish will come true. We found one on the plant near Annie when she died, few days later, we found one inside a sympathy card, and a few other places. Our climate don't support Ladybugs in November. That experience was very rare.
Dedication: To my wife Annie, a beautiful lady that touched so many hearts! I found it special, how with her humanity, compassion, and ability to see through her pain, she could reach out to others. Though her tears were many, she'd always find a was to display her trademark smile. Annie, I will love you forever, XO
