Herbie Plunkett takes a magical, mysterious trip to Santa's workshop where he meets Wally, a gentle old elf who leads Herbie through the workshop trying to solve Santa's candy and cookie problems. While there, Herbie gets into trouble and many twists and turns occur, but with a little hard work and some of Santa's magic, everything turns out just fine. A surprise ending sums up the whole adventure and puts a bit of irony and reality into the story.
