Mayberry is a Christian freelance writer and author of several faith-centered books including, Fringe: My Life as a Spirit-Filled Christian with Asperger's Syndrome, The Christian Aspie: Notes from the Blog, 7 Steps to a Godly Marriage and 101 Simple ways to Minister to Others. She is active in the Asperger's ("Aspie") community, reaching out to fellow Aspies, families, friends and churches to encourage, educate and assist in bridging the gap that autism can cause in a person's walk with Christ.
