Based on a true family history, this is the story of Little Dove, a Lakota girl captured by whites at an early age, who adapted to the white world and learned to survive while preserving her Native American spiritual traditions in secret. Follow her as she marries and moves to a plantation near Greenwood, Mississippi in the old South just prior to the Civil War. From the back cover: Little Dove Soars! “You will come away with a deep feeling of the Native American Spirit toward life.
