Review:

Of particular interest to SLA is [chapter three's] focus on the complexities of Arabic and English L1 differences, which provides a Middle Eastern context and Arabic L1 transfer perspective to the transfer debate. [...] Recommended. Provides a Middle East and Arab perspective to SLA and L1 transfer complexities. Target audience includes all academic literacy teachers and ESL/EFL students in Higher Education. --Dr. Marcelle Harran, Skyline University College, Sharjah, UAE
