Bullying is real. It is a fact. And ~ it happened to me.
Bullying can and usually does have long-lasting results. I am no different. For many years I was insecure about my looks and my intelligence ~ due to all the bullies in my life. And there were more than one. People I thought were friends, people I thought cared about me ~ and even some family members. However, this book is not about condemning anyone. Not even the bullies.
What it is about is learning from those experiences ~ to take away the power from any bully; past, present or future ~ to empower yourself and create the life you desire. Anyone can recover from being bullied ~ it just takes some practical thoughts and simple skills to do so. Paula has been in the investment and corporate industry since 1980 ~ starting out working for the Vice President of the MidAmerica Commodity Exchange in Chicago ~ the nation's first mini-contract exchange.
