Lori Borgman's obituary for the Death of Common Sense that went viral, published in eight countries, is now in book form with marvelous illustrations and new, never-before published profiles on the survivors of Common Sense. Meet his wife, Discretion -- she was a class act that wore pearls, not Mardi Gras beads. Meet their children Responsibility (she played the usual childhood games, Hearts and Crazy 8s, but never the Blame Game or 101 Excuses), their son Reason (he was escorted out of the university by his replacements Feelings and Passion, and the two step-brothers of Common Sense, Half-Wit and Dim-Wit. They excel at good self-esteem and hypocrisy.

Lori Borgman is a newspaper columnist distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada. She has been published everywhere from the Chicago Tribune to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and the Sacramento Bee. As a matter of fact, if your paper doesn't carry her, you should call and ask that they do. Lori usually writes humor but also touches on serious matters. In 20 years of writing, her obituary for Common Sense has been the most popular column ever. She continues to receive requests to reprint it. These requests range from business and university websites to a yoga magazine in Spain and a newsletter for the Colorado State Penitentiary. It has even been translated into Icelandic. You may have had some version of it emailed to you at some time attirubuted to some character named "Anonymous," but Lori is the author and content that it is now in book form.Review:
