Pastor Bruce Ball was called to the ministry at the very young age of six while he and his family lived in a rural part of the Appalachian Mountains in Jonesville, Virginia. His first grade teacher, Mrs. Alma Cox, was also his father’s first grade teacher in a small four room school building. In an interview before her passing, she stated that, on several occasions, she remembered having to tell Pastor Bruce to sit down and “stop preaching” so she could teach. He has authored four books and is known by his steadfast faith in relying on the Lord in all situations and for all things, and for teaching others that when they profess to be a Christian, they need to be very serious about acting like it. He and his wife Diana currently live in the deserts of southern Arizona, where they serve as teachers and he occasionally preaches in a local church. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.
